Breitling Super Avenger E13360
So, the Breitling Super Avenger E13360, what a great watch! Titanium. Light, but very strong. The Avenger Series is heavy duty to say the least.
The Avenger line was originally part of the Aeromarine range of watches, and the result of extensive research aimed at improving features, both for civilian or military use. This heavy duty chronograph incorporates major technical and aesthetic improvements. Its sturdy construction is a reminder that the Super Avenger is designed for heavy duty use.
The dial of the Super Avenger was changed during it’s production. Made from 2001-2007, this one dates from about 2002; which can be seen by the lighter, printed date wheel.
The Breitling Calibre 13 is based around the ETA Valjoux 7750 movement, an automatic mechanical chronograph fit for purpose.
For such a big watch, it sits well on the wrist and carries its heft comparatively lightly. This example comes on a professional titanium bracelet with extra links so will fit those of you with bigger wrists. Also included is an original Breitling rubber strap that is virtually unworn. The bezel is unidirectional with a total of 120 clicks per rotation. Castle turret collars sit around the textured edge pushers, which are not screw down, but the watch still maintains a 30bar (300m) water resistance rating.
As a whole, the watch shows signs of usual marks from light use but is in very good condition for its age. It also comes with all the paperwork, chronometer certificate, original receipt, inner and outer boxes.
